We had a very mild winter, but I can't wait for Spring. Everything is budding or blooming, and I know we will have our "Easter Snap" as we call it... Severe storms are coming in tonight and in the morning. Another Frost for Tuesday! 79 degrees today! I've been very sick with a stomach flu, which triggered a colon infection, and lying around here for days, made my mundane schedule seem very cool, and fun, and interesting. I missed my gym especially, and my girlfriends I work out with. We call it very cheap therapy! I missed coming here and reading all of your great posts. Seeing what is going on in your lives. Where is Celtic Mist? I know the Stream went on without me, and will keep going on long after I've left, but not to be a part of it added to my pity party. I missed keeping my grandson and that was terrible. I dreamed about people I have not thought about in years, and I hate TV! My precious hubby was sick too, but seemed to be able to will himself well after a few days. I missed him when he continued his golf and shopping etc. He took very good care of me and I'm so thankful for him. Eventually, I'll get around to my buddies, and reading all of your posts, but until then Take Care, Heide | | Posted by Heide at 2:10 PM -

Hello, God, are you out there? Can you hear me? Are you listenin' any more? Hello, God, if we're still on speakin' terms, Can you help me like before?
I have questioned your existence, My resistance leaves me cold. Can you help me go the distance? Hello, God. Hello, hello.
This old world has gone to pieces, Can we fix it? Is there time? Hate and violence just increases, We're so selfish, cruel and blind. We fight and kill each other, In your name, defending you. Do you love some more than others? We're so lost and confused.
Hello, God, are you out there? Can you hear us? Are you listenin' any more? Hello, God, if we're still on speakin' terms, Can you help us like before?. Oh, the free will you have given, We have made a mockery of. This is no way to be livin'. We're in great need of your love.
Hello, God. (Hello, hello.) Hello, God, can you grant us, Love enough to make amends? (Hello, God.) Is there still a chance, That we could start again?
Hello, God, we've learned our lesson. Dear God, don't let us go. (Hello, Hello.) More than ever, Hello, God. Hello, hello. Hello, God, we really need you, We can't make it without you. (Hello, God.)
We beseech you, In the name of all that's true. Hello God, please forgive us, For we know not what we do. Hello, God, give us one more chance, To prove ourselves to you.
Hello, God, (Hello, God.) Hello, God.

Here in Texas, my tulips are about two inches high. The daffodills are blooming and the birds are singing every morning. It has been a hard week. Have had jury duty, plus drive seventy miles on Saturdays to Baby Sit my precious boy while my daughter tutors for Tak Tests. We have three more Saturdays. I love it, of course. She is not all that keen on the "No child left behind" doey! I also walked twenty miles this week, so was proud of myself for sticking with the work out program my friends and I have been doing the past six month. Our baby is growing so much. He calls me Mee-Momma and hubby Dee-Daddy. He's a toot and ahalf! Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. I'll be up and driving before 6 am! Maybe next week will be calmer....How did I ever work? Two wolves. One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: 'Which wolf wins?'
The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'

My sister in law, Karen has a birthday this week. She will be 56 years old. Karen has been battling multiple myeloma for three years. Karen is my Hero! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR FRIEND! Heide Karen's February update (This is from my Brother) Family and Friends, We met with Karen's Dr. yesterday morning after testing all day Monday. He said that nothing had changed much since her December check-up. He called her cancer stabilized and kept her on the same medication plus another chemo that he said had been successful with her stage of cancer. Said that her counts(platlets and white blood cells) would remain low with this treatment but we had no choice at this time but to continue to reduce her cancer count. He said she would receive platlets on Tuesdays and Fridays and to keep up this treatment until May. At that time, depending on the success of this treatment he would decide on a fourth stem cell transplant. If she has to do another transplant--- May would be a much better time of year in Salt Lake then now. It snowed 4 out of the 5 days while we were there. Of course, we are very happy to be home and really appreciate everyones concerns and prayers. Come by or call when you get a chance. | | Posted by Heide at 1:21 PM -
