Yes, the music is a little different, and the people are good hearted and love their Zydeco music, and their Cajun food! And they love to Dance! And they love to party!

Where did January go? I remember getting ready for Christmas and company and travels just yesterday! Time is flying!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Don't forget to stop and smell winters breath. It will be gone before we know it.

1. Just got back from a wonderful trip in the next state! My precious son and his beautiful wife got us rooms at a great hotel for two nights and three days. They flew in from NYCity and we had the time of our lives, visiting and having great meals together, and me, just sitting and watching them. A Mothers dream come true. They are so dear to us, and this visit was very special.

2. Usually when my son and our daughter in law come, they fly into Austin, and visit friends there, then move on to my Moms and My Brother and Sister in law, next his Dad and step Mother, then to my daughters and her fam and finially to us! This visit was special!

3. We got ICE this morning, and temp is going up, so NO problems. We are still under a Winter Weather Advisory, and for us Texans, that is exciting as all get outs!

4. We have a big fire blazing, and I've got homemade Beef Vegetable Stew on the Stove! Cornbread is in the oven.

5. Our cat, Phoebe Grace was so glad to see us. She has been asleep since we got home!

Those were the days my Friend....I thought they'd never end.....
