 CHRISTMAS.......A GOOD THING!

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY before Christmas, our precious red headed granddaughter, her dad (hubbys son) and her mother came! We enjoyed all the eating and unwrapping gifts and visiting....

Mattie enjoyed practicing her golf game with the new clubs we gave her. And especially enjoyed her granddaddy coaching her! They are quite a team!!!

On SATURDAY, our precious grandson, his momma (my daughter) and his popa came, and we enjoyed eating, unwrapping gifts, and visiting!

Alex showed off, and entertained us all...

DO YOU NEED SOME HELP MOMMA?

On CHRISTMAS EVE, SUNDAY, WE HEADED TO MY MOMS FIVE HOURS AWAY.....

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, EATING, UNWRAPPING GIFTS, AND VISITING MY AUNT MADILENE, BRO AND SIS IN LAW AND NIECE AND NEPHEW AND FRIENDS THAT STOPPED BY TO WISH US A MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!!!

A GREAT CHRISTMAS FOR HUBBY AND I, AND A EXTREMELY HAPPY WAY TO CELEBRATE JESUS' BIRTH.

WE ARE SO BLESSED, AND PHOEBE GRACE WAS SO GLAD TO SEE US!!!!

THANK YOU SWEET JESUS FOR OUR SAFE TRIP, AND OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND MOST OF ALL FOR YOUR BIRTH!!!!

Hold the Fort Down Phoebe Grace!!

Poor Phoebe Grace!! We are leaving for my Moms and she has to go outside....

It has gotten so cold! We fixed a nice, cozy place in the storage building next to the garage for her.

Hubby is extremely anxious about her. I say to him (and does he listen?) "she is just a cat, and loves the outdoors"... He'll be worried the whole time we are gone...

Phoebe loves my husband. Thinks he is her mother. She just tolerates me. I feed her from time to time. And let her in and out of the house whenever she wants. I wash her blanket that is on the guest bed she has taken over, and pick her up and love on her when she asks me too.

She was thrown out when a kitten, and I found her in the switch cane down by the driveway. I finially got her to come out by placing bowls of milk up to the patio.

My husband washed her wounds and cleaned her up, and she has been HIS lap kitty ever since.

I had just put my 18 year old Beauty Boy Cat, Sug to sleep, and really did not want another cat.

God saw differently, gave us Phoebe. I always thought Sug had something to do with it too.

Pray she is here when we get back.

Take care! Enjoy!

 Merry Christmas Streamers!

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful Streamer Friends!

You have made my life so much nicer, and I enjoy reading your wonderful posts daily!

I love traveling to places I have never seen, and hear about children and grandchildren and husbands, and wifes and friends, and pets and your homes, and your jobs and your joys and your sorrows.

I love each of you, and pray your Christmas will be all you expect.

I pray you will be safe and comfortable and at peace with those around you as well as yourself.

Thank you for listening and caring, and sharing and not expecting alot from an old woman who sometimes feels alittle lonely. Who sometimes likes to brag and sometimes likes to complain and sometimes sticks her foot in her mouth. Who always means well, and who credits her Lord and Savior with all that is good in her.

Thank you for allowing me to join the Stream, and never making me feel like I did'nt belong.

You all are the greatest!!!!

 Sweet Baby Boy!

Funny how just this time last year we were awaiting the arrival of this precious baby boy.

Time has flown, and I have enjoyed watching my daughter and her husband become completely mesmerized by this toothless wonder. He is almost a year, and still no sign of a tooth. My husband is a retired dentist, and he keeps telling me, Granddaddy will make that boy some dentures. I'm beginning to worry, but his parents are fine with it.

Jana said last night he was like a 21 year old. Woke them up partying, and laughing and jumping and babbling away. They just don't know the half of it, do they?

We have been blessed so much this past year.

My sister in law went thru another (3) stem cell and several rounds of chemo successfully, and is again cancer free. Please pray they find the correct meds for her to stay in remission this time. Using two experiemental drugs, and another that has been on the market a year.

My husband has not had a good year, medical wise. He has a heart condition that keeps me on pins and needles, but he keeps on keeping on. Golf four days a week at least. He has about 12 friends his age, that play regardless of the conditions. They all have medical problems, but seem to do better when they are together. I pray he has a better 2007. I really need him around!!!

My 96 year old Mom seems to be the most healthy in my family. She is still going strong. We will travel to her home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Dinner. She is like a kid when it comes to Christmas.
She will start cooking her date loaf, divinity, and fudge this week. Pies after that, and then the Turkey n dressing, ham and all of the other stuff heart patients really need. She just loves to entertain.

My husbands son and fam will drive in thursday before Christmas and visit with us and his wifes family and go back to Arkansas in time for Santa to come to our precious granddaughters house.

Sometimes in there I will see my daughter and her hubby and little Alex on our way to my Moms, and then catch them again on our way back home. Whew!!!! And we Thought when you got older, everyone came to your house. Well, as long as my Mom is alive, we'll go to her house. Period!

My son will celebrate with his wife in Brooklyn... Thank goodness for email and the phone service. We'll have a nice visit with them, as they will call my Moms house Christmas Day. Not the same, but hey, he could be in Iraq!!!

I do have alot to be thankful for!

God Bless each of you and those you love this Christmas Season!!!!
